These chickens have to be one of my favourite fowl. They are certainly the most loveable. (If you can love a chicken that is)

They go broody very quickly and make excellent "Mums" 

The background on this page is a picture of a  silkie hen raising keets and chicks. This hen belongs to a friend of mine in Northern Missouri. 

I currently have white, black, blue, and white/grey splash. My partner bren has white, lavender and buff see her site here

I have since traded him for a different blood line

Notice the rainbow of colours, I allowed my hens and roos to all mix (free love)
